Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory wins second-straight CHSL Bishop Division title
No. 1-ranked and defending Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 champion Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory (32-1) beat rival and Division 1 No. 18-ranked Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice (26-6) 6-5 in an eight-inning classic to claim its second straight Catholic High School League Bishop Division Championship. Junior Ike Irish drove in sophomore Ryan Mooney with a single in the bottom of the eighth for the winning run. Sophomore second baseman Ryan McKay tripled in the tying run in the bottom of the seventh to score Irish and force extra innings. Brother Rice was in command for most of the afternoon, leading 5-3 after five innings and 5-4 heading into the seventh.

Brock Porter struck out 13 over 6.2 innings for the Eaglets. Ike Irish homered and drove in two runs. Jack Crighton, Nolan Schubart and Ryan Mckay each had two hits and a RBI. St. Mary's is ranked No. 1 in Division 2.

Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice 3, University of Detroit Jesuit 0
John Locker pitched five innings, allowing two hits and striking out 11. Blaise Wilcenski pitched the final two innings for the save, striking out three. Will Shannon had a hit and the Warriors' lone RBI.

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett repeats as CHSL Cardinal Division champions
Division 3 No. 1-ranked Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett (22-2) won a 2-1 comeback thriller over Division 4 No. 2-ranked Marine City Cardinal Mooney to claim its second straight Catholic High School League Cardinal Division Championship. Mooney got on the board first in the top of the fourth inning as sophomore Trent Rice singled and later scored on a sacrifice fly by sophomore Ryan Trombley. Liggett tied the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. Sophomore Jarren Purify singled, stole two bases, and scored on a sacrifice fly by sophomore Joey Randazzo. Sophomore Ryan Jones led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk. He advanced to second on sophomore Jack Jones' sacrifice fly and scored the game-winning run on a two-out hit by sophomore Oliver Service. Junior Kurt Barr earned the win on the mound, striking out nine, giving up only three hits.

Junior Kurt Barr tossed a two-hit shutout for the Knights, striking out nine. Jarren Purify was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to drive in the game's only run. Liggett is ranked No. 1 in Division 3. Shrine is ranked No. 7 in Division 3.
Marine City Cardinal Mooney 4, Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard 0
Tommy Gill pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing two hits and striking out seven and walking one for the Cardinals. Trent Rice and Anthony DiGiuseppe (both had multiple hits. Cardinal Mooney is ranked No. 2 in Division 4.
