Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood repeats at CHSL Bishop Division champion
Division 3 No. 2-ranked Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood won its second consecutive Catholic High School League Bishop Division championship with 18 points, winning one singles flight and two doubles flights. A shorthanded Division 3 No. 1-ranked Ann Arbor Greenhills was second with 11 points, earning victories at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice and Detroit Catholic Central, both ranked at No. 9 in Division 1, tied for third with 10 points.

Monsignor Carroll Deady, long-time Superintendent of Archdiocesan Schools, was a great competitor, educator, scholar and champion for Catholic education. The boys' tennis award is presented annually to a scholar-athlete in his name.
