Dearborn Divine Child wins first-ever CHSL Bishop Division championship

Dearborn Divine Child held off Farmington Hills Mercy 3-2 to claim its first Catholic High School League Bishop Division Championship. Junior Mia Thomson scored two goals and senior Amber Traub scored the eventual game-winner for the Falcons (13-4).

Kirsten Fitzgerald and Nina Genise scored for the Marlins in the victory.

Morgan Stack scored all three goals for the Falcons in the victory.

Everest Collegiate/Academy of the Sacred Heart wins CHSL Cardinal Division title

Clarkston Everest Collegiate/Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart held off Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 2-1  to claim its first Catholic High School League Cardinal Division Championship as a co-op team. Sophomore Lilah Chow earned the victory in goal and made a last-second save off a corner kick to end the game. Junior Chloe Antakli and junior Abby Milosch scored for Everest/Sacred Heart (10-1-4).

Celeste James scored five goals in the victory for Everest/Sacred Heart.

 

Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 5, Marine City Cardinal Mooney 0

Rachel Claxton scored two goals for the Cranes in the victory. Sara Tweed, Anna Timko, and Lauren Rao added goals.
