University of Detroit Jesuit repeats as CHSL Bishop Division champions

With a dominant performance showcasing both strength and depth, University of Detroit Jesuit won its second consecutive Catholic High School League Bishop Division Boys Track and Field Championship. The Cubs amassed 167.5 points, well ahead of runner-up Detroit Catholic Central (103) and third-place Dearborn Divine Child (96). Jesuit won every individual event 800 meters or shorter and finished first in three out of four relays (a disqualification in the 4 x 100 prevented a clean sweep). Junior Jaiden Reed set Catholic League records in the 100-meter dash (10.59) and the 200 (21.35) – an event where the Cubs swept the top three places. Freshman Elijah Dotson was a double winner, taking both hurdle races. Other double winners were Dearborn Divine Child distance runner Michael Hegarty and thrower Brady Ploucha.
