Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood2 4, Ann Arbor Greenhills1 4 (9-7)

The Division 3 No. 2-ranked Cranes upset the Division 3 No. 1-ranked and defending CHSL and MHSAA champion Gryphons by a razor-thin margin, winning the tie-breaker on total sets won, 9-7. Greenhills won three of four singles flights, while Cranbrook won three of four doubles flights. Due to the pandemic, only the top four teams from regular season matches advanced to the CHSL championship. And rather than a traditional tournament format, the championship was played in a dual format.

Msgr Carroll Deady Award

Monsignor Carroll Deady, long-time Superintendent of Archdiocesan Schools, was a great competitor, educator, scholar and champion for Catholic education. The boys' tennis award is presented annually to a scholar-athlete in his name.
