Farmington Hills Mercy repeats as Bishop Division champions
Farmington Hills Mercy edged Bloomfield Hills Marian 43-39 to earn its second straight Catholic High School League Bishop Division championship. Alexis Roberts scored 15 points to lead the Marlins (12-3). Junior Sophie Dugas contributed nine points. Senior Ellie Tisko notched eight points and senior Madeline Kenney chipped in with six points. Sarah Sylvester scored 13 for Marian (10-5).

Wixom St. Catherine wins first Cardinal Division championship
Wixom St. Catherine of Siena held off Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes to earn its first Catholic High School League Cardinal Division girls basketball championship. The Stars (9-7) led 23-13 at halftime. Senior Darbi Klatt led St. Catherine with 11 points. Sophomore Rachel Luomala added 10 points. Sophomore Angelina Arena chipped in with six points.

Sophomore Hailey Baumann led the Stars with 14 points. Senior Darbi Klatt scored nine points. Sophomore Rachel Luomala added eight points in the victory.

Royal Oak Shrine Catholic 42
Senior Lexi Koenig scored 19 points, including the game-winning free throws, to lead the Lakers. Brooklyn Robak had nine points. Therese MacKowiak had six points.

Frank Connelly Award
Frank Connolly Award was named for the late director of the Catholic Youth Organization who was responsible for the beginning and fostering growth in girls' basketball. The award is presented annually to the outstanding female scholar-athlete in girls' basketball.
